Still Life Spring

Still Life Spring is the second in a series of unique Highland Single Malt decanters by Whisky Maker Bob Dalgarno. Each edition reflects a season, capturing moments from his distillery life and personal journey.

Still Life Spring embodies the spirit of spring - fresh, vibrant, and full of renewal, mirroring Bob’s transition from farming roots to whisky craftsmanship.

The whisky has been selected from 3 casks celebrating the character of both first fill and refill casks. It reflects new life and growth, the freshness that bookends a spring day and the warmth in between.

Designed by Lalique

Designed by Marc Larminaux, Artistic and Creative Director at Lalique, the decanter’s form echoes the elegant curves of traditional copper stills, while its etched lines pay tribute to the cask staves that have nurtured the whisky over time.

Each piece is hand-blown by master glassmakers, combining modern artistry with time-honoured craftsmanship. Finished in frosted crystal with re-polished detailing, the decanter is presented in a bespoke presentation box, underscoring its status as a true collector’s piece.

Limited to just 105 bottles worldwide per edition, each decanter beautifully captures and reflects the essence of its respective season.

Tasting Notes

Dried fruits and wood spices backdrop the cool dark of the morning. Hints of new green oak give touches of light. Soft vanilla provides warm tones as the day unfolds, ginger cake and citrus notes filter through to a fresh, crisp finish as the evening takes hold.
