Angels Be Damned Scotch Ale Wins The Guild of Fine Food Great Taste Award

Angels Be Damned Scotch Ale Wins The Guild of Fine Food Great Taste Award

St Andrews Brewing Co. Angels Be Damned Scotch Ale, in collaboration with The Glenturret, has won the Great Taste 3 Star Award at The Guild Of Fine Food Awards.

With a panel of over 500 experts ranging from chefs, buyers, food writers and retailers the announcement of The Guild Of Fine Food Great Taste Award is a humbling accolade for both brands, with fewer than 2% of entrants each year achieving this ‘exquisite’ 3 Star Award.

St Andrews Brewing Co Managing Director, Phil Mackey and The Glenturret’s Managing Director, John Laurie bonded over a passion for amazing beers and whisky, with both organisations sharing history in Scottish distilling and brewing, resulting in The Angels Be Damned a 9.8%-barrel aged scotch ale.

We really enjoy working with the team at The Glenturret. Right from the beginning of our collaboration it has been clear how passionate they are about whisky and ensuring that everything that they are associated with is of the highest quality. This 3 Star Award recognises the combined work of two highly experienced capable and passionate teams.

Phil Mackey, St Andrews Brewing Co Managing Director

Angels Be Damned is available in 330ml bottles in The Glenturret Distillery Shop from Monday the 1st of August or online at St Andrews Brewing Co.
