Location: The Glenturret Distillery, Crieff
Hours: 40 hours per week - 5 days out of 7 (including weekend/shift work)
Contract type: Permanent/Full time 

The Glenturret Distillery is recruiting a Warehouse Operator. This role involves working in a busy distillery bonded warehouse. A hands-on role working day to day with casks you will report to the Warehouse Team Leader and work closely with the Whisky team and Distillery Production team to ensure all work is carried out in a safe, professional, compliant and timely manner.  

About You: 

The successful candidate should have previous work experience in a similar role in Warehousing in the whisky industry, the ability to work as part of a team, as well as the capability and confidence to work on your own as required.

A level of experience for this role is beneficial, although further training will be provided. You will be required to adhere to, HMRC, H & S, food safety and environmental compliance, also working within Glenturret’s procedures and work instructions.

You should possess strong communication skills, be well organised, resourceful and self-motivated.

A valid UK driver’s licence is essential.

This role includes essential manual handling tasks e.g. general movement of casks that are a core requirement of the position. These physical duties form an intrinsic part of the role due to the operational nature of the distillery environment. This role requires flexibility and you may be asked to work in other areas of the business as required.
