Since 1763 and its earliest beginnings, The Glenturret has been defined by patience and care. Once a whisky quietly destined for blends, The Glenturret has been nurtured, refined, and reimagined into a single malt of character and distinction.

The double maturation of Interlude mirrors that same journey...

First matured in sherry seasoned oak casks, the whisky began to gather layers of richness and depth. Yet, like The Glenturret itself, its story was still unfolding. Returning it to wood to further mature for over a year in Pedro Ximénez hogsheads, casks renowned for their velvet sweetness and indulgent character, time worked gently, coaxing out notes of dried fruit, treacle, and warm spices, shaping a whisky of silken texture and lingering complexity. 

Interlude is a testament to the art of nurturing, of knowing when to wait, when to guide, and when to allow time and wood to leave their quiet mark. Just as The Glenturret has evolved from blending’s hidden heart into a singular malt of distinction, so too has this whisky been given the space to flourish into something unexpected.
