The Glenturret, Scotland’s oldest working distillery, reveals Remanence, a new limited-edition release defined not only by time, but by the impression it leaves behind.
Inspired by what lingers after, the warmth of shared company, the quiet that follows, the memory that never fully fades, Remanence explores the lasting character of an experience and its ability to stay with us.

Crafted from peated spirit and matured in American and European oak, this whisky reveals a duality within smoke itself, bright and lifted at first, before deepening into something darker, softer, and more contemplative.
Over time, contrast gives way to cohesion, where sweetness, spice and smoke integrate into a seamless whole. The result is a whisky with depth and complexity, where the influence of peat is balanced by a sense of warmth and refinement.
A refined veil of freshly awakened smoke opens the whisky, lifted by citrus brightness and soft vanilla sweetness. At its heart, smooth caramel unfolds into layers of elegant oak spice, balanced with quiet restraint. The finish is long and evocative, where gentle smoke and soft spice linger, long after the final sip.
Whisky Maker, Bob Dalgarno.
There is a familiarity to it, of warmth, of time shared, of something remembered rather than observed.
