Every cask has its own journey; the whisky maker waits, observing patiently, guided by craft and intuition, allowing time to reveal what each cask will become. 

This single cask has quietly distinguished itself, unfolding creamy toffee and vanilla on the nose, with orchard fruits and bright citrus weaving through. Gentle oak spices, ginger, and nutmeg emerge on the palate, supported by caramel and ripening fruits, leading to a long, poised finish. 

Drawn from the first cask filled in 2012, this whisky carries the quiet imprint of time and craft, maturing gracefully into a single cask expression of richness, harmony, and provenance, chosen because it has shown its character in full - a rare expression of patience and craft brought to life. 

With only 800 bottles available, The Glenturret 2012 Vintage Cask is offered exclusively through The Glenturret Distillery Shop in Crieff. It is a whisky created not to mark an occasion, but to honour the remarkable journey of one exceptional cask.

Tasting Notes: In the beginning, the sweet aroma of rich creamy toffee swirls with vanilla, whilst accompanying notes of apple, citrus fruit and oak patiently emerge. Wood spices softly open on the palate, as ginger and nutmeg race to the fore supported by caramel, vanilla and an abundance of ripening fruits a moment later. The finish comes to a long and fulfilling sweet crescendo, as wood spices and soft oak delicately linger.
