As part of our commitment to encourage our visitors to use greener transport methods, we have recently partnered with Connekt to provide up to 22Kwh EV charging for our guests.

Connekt are commercial EV charging specialists based in Scotland and they have recently been awarded a prestigious Scottish Edge Award securing the top spot in the Net Zero category of the competition.  

In 2023 we successfully secured £10,000 of Energy Scotland funding in order to install six new on-site chargers that will provide visitors with an EV rapid charge facility.

On an average stay of 1.5hrs charging at 22Kwh, customers can expect over a 100miles in range. At a cost of 60p per Kwh, we have secured an average rate for our local area. 

Charging your car can be done through an IRF reader, through the Connekt app or directly via the QR code located on the chargers in our car park. Guests can use our complimentary wi-fi to access the QR code throughout the Visitor Centre.

 Our Connekt chargers will be listed on Google Maps, Zap-Map, VW, BMW, and Mercedes as a charge point. With a wealth of distillery facilities and scenic walks to enjoy, we are delighted to offer lots to see and do in the area while you charge your vehicle with us.
