The Glenturret x Jaguar D-Type

Jaguar D-Type

In celebration of the 70th Anniversary of the D-Type Jaguar, we are proud to present an exclusive release limited to only 270 bottles.

Limited Release of 270

Jaguar x The Glenturret

In 1955, Jaguar introduced the most celebrated and competitive derivative of the D-Type, with the striking “Longnose”. The D-Type’s streamlined body was meticulously designed to reduce drag and optimise performance. Its distinctive fin extended from the driver’s headrest to the rear and became a defining visual characteristic. This fin not only enhanced stability at high speeds but also contributed to the car’s iconic silhouette. Initially powered by a more powerful 270bhp version of the legendary XK 3.4-litre inline-six engine, the D-type was capable of speeds up to 190 mph, making it one of the fastest cars of its era.
